The brand new FC5 Hornet from Lifeloc Technologies is part of a new generation of passive alcohol testers. Passive alcohol sensors are used in environments where quick screening for the presence of alcohol is a top priority. These are great for schools, traffic enforcement, jails, probation, and other safety sensitive industries. The FC5 Hornet is completely noninvasive and does not require use of a mouthpiece for testing. Great for law enforcement and correction officals in cases where uncooperative subjects may be resistant to testing. The FC5 may be used to test alcohol vapors in open containers, subjects breath, and even the ambient environment. It follows the simple operation and instructions as all the Lifeloc FC series breathalyzers.
The FC5 Hornet has been designed from the ground up to replace the older technology or alcohol screening wands and flashlights. These devices are not as quick or accurate in supplying results as the FC5 Hornet and lack some of the newer features being offered. The sensor in the FC5 is 4 times as large as those in current outdated alcohol wands which helps increase the response time, breatha sample size, and working life. The FC5 Hornet is simply a highly effective alcohol screening device designed for those with quick passive alcohol screening needs.
